Our Story
Eddie's Place Restaurant is an award-winning neighborhood Restaurant and Bar established in 1997 in the South Park/Cotswold area of Charlotte, North Carolina. With it becoming increasingly difficult to differentiate one restaurant concept from another, Eddie's Place Restaurant stands out with a unique blend of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and bar. A commitment to consistent quality food combined with good service in a warm, inviting environment has proven to be the key to success.
Flexibility and attitude is at the heart of Eddie's Place. "Giving the customer what they want and with a smile is crucial to our success," says David. The customers at Eddie's Place easily feel "at home" when told that they can sample menu items, customize their menu selection and are remembered by their server after only a couple of visits. David and Doug continue to place a strong emphasis on "comfort" food, "friendly" service, "reasonable" price and "neighborhood" atmosphere. At Eddie's Place, we care about people. Our staff can tell this story best, as most of our current staff members have worked at Eddie's Place Restaurant for 5 or more years.
Known for their famous She Crab Soup, all-day breakfast, gigantic Muffalatta sandwich, Reuben, Hamburgers, Cajun entrees, and popular weekend Brunch specials, Eddie's Place is THE place to enjoy good food and feel like a regular from the moment you walk in their door.
The Eddie's Place restaurant menu is inspired largely by a trip to New Orleans that Eddie took back in the mid 1990s. The decision was made to combine a Cajun influence with classic american style. Since then, our cajun-styled menus have been a success in Charlotte, North Carolina. Our philosophy is to give our customers what they want, so as long as it's in the house we'll do our very best to give you just what you're looking for!
At Eddie's Place Restaurant your meal is prepared with fresh products that are delivered daily. For the health conscience, we use a 'no trans fat' Soybean Oil. Our wide range of menu selections combined with a friendly neighborhood atmosphere makes for a truly unique dining experience.
